Hi, I'm Braden. I'm a web developer by trade and have worked professionally for over a decade. Right now, I'm researching how I can best use that experience to help Direct Primary Care practices.
I've also been a patient with chronic medical conditions nearly my whole life. About four years ago, after my health took a sharp turn for the worse, I found my first DPC doctor. The difference that relationship made in my health and my experience of care was profound.
My wife is a Family Medicine resident, and several members of my immediate family have spent their careers inside the traditional healthcare system. Those experiences have given me a deep respect for the physicians building a more direct, personal model of care.
I believe DPC matters, but I don't want to assume from the outside that I know what practice owners need. Before deciding what to build or how to help, I want to understand the real problems physicians face while running and growing an independent practice.
I'm asking DPC physicians what consumes the most time, creates the most frustration, or keeps their practice from working the way they want. That might be patient education, growth, operations, administration, technology, or something I haven't considered yet.
